With the Downtown Strategic Plan process in its final stages, the New Development Commission (NDC) will begin the review of modifications to the Downtown Development District (D-D) regulations. The proposed zoning adjustments would be based on the Downtown Strategic Plan recommendations and through the upcoming process specific code changes would tailored following public, Commission and Village Board feedback.
Open and accessible engagement between the Village of Glenview and its community members will be an essential part of the update to the Downtown Development Code.
We are connecting with the community’s needs through an array of events and communication options.
Public feedback is welcome throughout the process and especially during key points in the engagement process
Public hearings and meetings to obtain feedback from the New Development Commission, Village Board and public on the proposed code updates.

Following the presentation of the consultant’s recommendations during their August 25 meeting, the New Development Commission (NDC) will begin their review of proposed Downtown code updates.
