Three Downtown Case Studies
Downers Grove, Elmhurst and Mt. Prospect – what do these three communities have in common? All of them have downtowns that have a blend of new construction amongst existing, traditional buildings. We invite you to observe how the old meets the new; to take note of the varying building types and architectural building scale along the street, itemize which sections of streetscape feel comfortable or too expansive; and detail which downtown elements are most desirable.

This is intended to be a walking tour, be sure to wear your favorite walking shoes so that you are able to visit all the locations with ease!
BRING YOUR PREFERRED SMART DEVICE
Be prepared to bring your smart phone, tablet or any other smart device that you can use to complete the tour, participate in the evaluation questionnaires and upload photos.
